We have come a long, long ways towards our goal of a new recovery text written entirely by addicts, for addicts. This requires an ascending degree of accurate communication. To help members who support the NA Way of Life book and the NA Foundation Group in general, we are committing to publishing a free newsletter through email publication. In keeping with our policies of inclusion, please send us articles or ideas that may fit in with the NAWOL News. Since a loving HP is directing this writing, we are just doing the next thing. Please be bridge builders and peacemakers. Members cannot be blamed for not knowing what they can not read, discuss and study. We are honored to write some of the study materials.

Where unfortunate events have occurred, helping people see a wider, deeper picture perhaps we can move from here to a better NA for us all. Many of us firmly believe many of our problems are more a matter of fast growth and will settle down once more members can see NA in the round. One of our main problems seems to be centralism. While efficient in many ways, centralism leaves a lot of folks out or way behind. We are willing to do this work out of love and gratitude so that members of NA can see and hear more clearly. You know the old saying, "The eye cannot see and the ear cannot hear that which the mind cannot contain."  Growth involves changes and many addicts are afraid of change, even though in recovery, almost all changes are for the better. The world doesn't get better, we do.

In Loving Service,
Bo S.

The magic of NA unity is clear when we see our desire for recovery reflected in others. When this occurs - we see, we understand, and we are one.

This is the strength of our unity.
